For the quarter of Autumn 2024 I was tasked for my final to create an animation to a poem of my own finding. I chose to animate to the poem titled 'Keeping Things Whole' by Mark Strand.
I designed the characters and environment with a focus on maintaining a tranquil but comforting nostalgic energy. I chose to add textures to all elements as I felt it would speak as more organic and safe.

In a field
I am the absence
of field.
This is
always the case.
Wherever I am
I am what is missing.
When I walk
I part the air
and always
the air moves in
to fill the spaces
where my body’s been.
We all have reasons
for moving.
I move
to keep things whole.
